Hi Evie! He is a demon, returning to earth from hell where he is trying to save his lover from Satan. That's why his wings are black. But he is in love, and love conquers.

this is a very compelling piece. It reminds me of someone recovering from PTSD or a returning war veteran.

About Patricia Kanzler

Patricia Kanzler

born on the east coast, I have been too emotional for my own good and created art since I could hold a pencil; I am self taught. I used to love doing humans in mostly erotic positions, but I no longer dwell on the sexual and now concentrate on the sensual. I have a lot to say. I hope I live that long. Are all artists bipolar? Ah, the ups and the downs, I relish them.
